Celebrating Our Own: Bill Maxwell

We’re proud to celebrate our teammate Bill Maxwell, who was recently inducted into the Distinguished Alumni Honors Program at Ware Shoals School District 51 in South Carolina. The program recognizes outstanding alumni, distinguished educators, and community contributors who have made a meaningful impact—a fitting honor for someone whose career has been shaped by determination, growth, and a desire to help others.

A graduate of a small-town school, Bill has carried those qualities into opportunities far beyond Ware Shoals, including his work as a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Iowa and now as part of our team. When asked what he is most proud of, Bill points not to a particular title or accomplishment, but to hearing people share how an experience with him positively shaped some part of their lives.

Throughout it all, Bill has been guided by three simple values: courage, adventure, and compassion. He continues to bring those values to his role in Optimization and Development with Suitcase of Courage.

Congratulations, Bill, on this well-deserved recognition. We’re proud to have you on our team!
