13.1 Miles and More to Come
For Susie Keenan, a Senior Information Systems Advisor with FUJIFILM Healthcare, crossing the finish line of the Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon on October 10th was more than just completing 13.1 miles. It was a celebration of consistency, dedication, and the small steps that add up to big accomplishments.
After discovering a love for running a few years ago, Susie has continued challenging herself to improve with each race. To prepare for Myrtle Beach, she incorporated Virtual Gym strength workouts alongside her training runs, building strength, improving endurance, and feeling more confident tackling longer distances.
With frequent work travel, staying consistent wasn’t always easy. But Susie found ways to adapt. The flexibility of Virtual Gym allowed her to squeeze in quick workouts wherever she was, keeping her moving toward her goal even when life got busy.
“It’s been rewarding to see the progress I’ve made by continuing to challenge myself and adding strength training to my routine. I’m excited to keep building on that progress and look forward to seeing what I can accomplish with my next goal!”
Way to go, Susie, and congratulations on a fantastic finish at Myrtle Beach!
